MiraculousBible.org aims to help promote unity among those who profess Christianity and shine the light on God's Word toward those who are searching for truth (see this video, book, and more).

But why are those who profess Christianity so divided (Methodists, Baptists, Catholic, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Lutheran, etc.)? Divisions (i.e. denominations) are condemned (1 Cor 1:10). Why won't their preachers stand up and publically defend what they teach differently? Why do they refuse to follow 1 Pet 3:15?

One answer is that people who call themselves Christians do not fear God enough (Psalms 119:120, Prov 1:7, 3:7, 15:31-33, Eccl 12:13, Psalms 111:10, Heb 10:31).  They have been taught the fear of God through the precepts (assumptions) of men (Is 29:13).

Perhaps they do not really know for sure that the Bible is miraculous and we are to fear God. Perhaps they do not know the benefits (Job 28:28) of fearing God. People have been taught to trust their hearts even though Prov 28:26, 19:21, and Jer 17:9 warn us not to. Let us build our foundation of knowledge on our fear of God (Prov 1:7).

But before we can get others to fear God we first have to prove to them that we have a reliable message from God (that says we are to fear Him). So let us show others what our fear and our faith are founded upon.

Religious groups often use human derived wisdom (James 3:15-16 vs. James 3:17) and persuasive words to justify their different doctrines. But human derived wisdom is foolishness. We believe the Bible because it has been demonstrated with POWER, not because it uses persuasive words. See 1 Cor 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Our faith is based on the power of God, not persuasive words (1 Cor 2:4-5). First century Christians had evidence that the message preached was from God by the demonstration of miraculous powers. We have more complete evidence today through the miraculous Bible.

1 Cor 13:8-9, 10-11, 12 shows that miraculous powers would cease when that which is perfect (meaning complete) has come. That which is perfect (i.e. the Bible) has come. James 1:25 says the Bible is the perfect law of liberty. So how do we prove to ourselves and others that the Bible is miraculous? We can prove it using history, medicine, prophecy, archeology, paleontology, biology, physics, chemistry, etc.

Then after we have proven this to ourselves and others, we can open our Bibles with confidence and study it until we all have unity. Unity comes through proving all things (1 Thess 5:21) and making sure we have authority from God for all that we practice (Col 3:17, "in the name of" means having His authority). Divisions (Denominations) are condemned in God's Word (1 Cor 1:10). Let us have unity through the truth that we have proved to be from God.
